Summary
Jiang Cheng doesn’t sleep well outside of Lotus Pier anymore, even though over a decade has already passed since its destruction. Without the calm sounds of the water lapping around the docks and the soft scent of lotus flowers wafting in through the windows, a part of Jiang Cheng feels like all his work rebuilding the sect might’ve been a dream.

Tsukishima was 8 when he promised himself to never fall into an unrequited love, to never fall for anyone so hard he couldn't pull himself away. Sacrificing your own eyesight just to continue loving someone was utterly ridiculous. If he ever loved someone who didn't love him back, he'd squash those feelings. Who knew he'd discover love that would hit him like a train one day.

Izuku was used to being an outcast. His whole life he'd been quirkless and useless and worthless and creepy and annoying and hated. He knows what it feels like to be cornered in the hall, followed to the bathroom, and attacked as soon as the bell rings. He knows how it feels when someone you once considered a friend starts calling you useless and worthless. He knows a demeaning nickname when he hears one, even if he's trying to reclaim his own. He knows what it's like to not have friends or to be asked to hang out as a joke. He knows, though it's not something he's keen on advertising.
Or: If you don't have the context, a lot of what Midoriya Izuku does looks shady as fuck. Unfortunately, nobody had the context.

Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
