Open and vulnerable and trusting. Brave Jaskier. Loyal Jaskier. Kind Jaskier. Loving Jaskier.
In that moment Geralt suddenly knew what his life had been missing, what he had been unwittingly searching for. In that moment, the very last wall he had been hiding behind for years finally crumbled.

Summary
There was much that happened since leaving the mountain where Geralt lashed out at Jaskier.
In the interim, Geralt found his Child Surprise and brought her back to Kaer Morhen, where she began training in both swordfighting and magic.
Now back on the road, they encounter many surprises, but the biggest one is definitely finding a baby after a hunt, and having to care for it.
When they are also unexpectedly reunited with Jaskier, Geralt finds himself having to decide how to handle his fraught relationship with the man he loves, all while taking care of Ciri and the baby.

The others don’t even follow his line of sight - seemingly already aware who he’s talking about. “The White Wolf,” Istredd tells him, as Jaskier stares at the imposing guy sitting all alone at the table, eyes trained on his plate, face partially shielded by a curtain of white hair."
Or: Jaskier is sent to prison for prostitution, where he learns of the White Wolf - a prisoner that doesn't interact with others at all, and who is speculated to have committed some truly heinous crimes. Jaskier, ever curious and with no sense of self-preservation, decides to get to know the guy. Though that proves a bit harder than he had first expected.
