    peter knew that everyone had moved on. it had been 5 years, it was inevitable. but when was someone going to notice that he hadn't?

    It would be like old times where Tony would come say goodnight to him and give him kisses on the forehead. He had said that it would keep the nightmares away and Peter truly believed it. He didn't want another nightmare of Ben and May. He couldn't.

    Peter waited and waited, but the doorknob never opened. Tony never came to tuck him in and kiss him goodnight.

    Peter fell asleep like that, looking at the door that would never open, and listened to a lullaby that came from the other room.

    He would take what he could get.
