Summary
Izuku stared at his mother as she told him what happened. Apparently, the Bakugous had planned an outing today. Just for one day. But they got into an accident on the way, out in the country-side. Auntie and uncle didn't make it. And Kacchan... Kacchan was being treated right now.
A.K.A. In which Katsuki is taken in by the Midoriyas after his parents die in a car crash and struggles to recover from the experience. It proves more difficult than expected, for more reasons than one.

Summary
Bakugou Katsuki is fine. He is fine. Sure, he has nightmares every time he close his eyes. Sure, he hasn't had more than 4 hours of sleep a night in 6 years. Sure, he spirals in his head a lot. Sure, he spends an hour every day just sitting with a gravestone and maybe sometimes hears that voice. But he's fine. Because he can fucking deal with it.
And when his stupid friends want to go to a haunted house for a Youtube video, he's going with them. Because he's not afraid of ghosts, he's not afraid of monsters, he's not afraid of the dark, and he's not afraid of that stupid house. Not anymore.

"'You smoke?' Katsuki asks, eyebrows furrowed incredulously.
A blush rises on Izuku's freckled cheeks as he looks sidelong. Abashed and sheepish, he puts out the cigarette behind the counter, presumably on an ashtray, 'Ah- don't tell auntie Mitsuki please, she'll probably tell my mom.'
Katuski scoffs with a small smirk, 'I'd worry more about her coming to knock some sense into you personally. That woman's a menace—doesn't matter if it's been years since she's seen you.'
The chuckle in response is subdued and resigned—almost sad, 'Yeah, that sounds about right.'"
In which the world is a little unfair, Bakugou is just a tad more decent, and Midoriya Izuku finds himself in the throws of it all.
