Summary
It’s a lazy day for them both. Nowhere to go, nothing huge to do. A day to catch up on small jobs and household bits and bobs. Specifically, for now, the preparing of ingredients to restock his store room. Magnus likes these sorts of days the most, far more than high-risk non-stop missions and rescues and whatever dreadful mistakes the New York shadowhunters have gotten themselves into. The only shadowhunter he has to worry about on days like today is Alexander.

Alec calls Magnus as soon as he gets a chance on Monday. He locks the door of his office to prevent Jace coming in to whine about the latest ass-kicking he received from Izzy or Clary. Magnus takes a while to pick but manages it on the first call at least.

“You sound worse than this morning,” Alec says, a small smile flickering over his face.
“You say such romantic things to me,” Magnus retorts dryly

Summary
“You never asked who woke me up,” Sam says eventually, causing Frodo to frown in confusion.
“No. I did not.”
“Perhaps you should.”
Frodo leans away enough to look at him quizzically. Sam’s expression doesn’t give anything away.
“Who?”
“It was Lady Arwen. She brought me breakfast and asked to talk.”
This doesn’t help clear anything up for Frodo. Does the opposite in fact. Piling more questions on top of what had already been a hefty dose of confusion. It doesn’t help that it’s near impossible for Frodo to imagine Sam waking up to find Arwen at the door, a tray of fruits and breads or whatever it was they’d eaten. Considering Sam being still in his nightshirt right now, the situation was even harder to picture.

“You don’t need to cook me dinner,” Crowley grouches for the millionth time, trailing Aziraphale around the cottage kitchen. “I don’t need to eat anyway so why bother.”
Aziraphale huffs for the equally millionth time as he continues looking through their poorly stocked cupboards. “It’s not a bother and are you truly going to tell me that you don’t enjoy eating?”
Crowley pulls himself onto one of the counters, scowling at his angel’s back.
“And besides,” Aziraphale continues, opening the next cupboard, “you cooked for me last week. It’s only fair that I return the favour.”

Hi if you’re still taking requests, could you write one where Crowley is a super picky eater? (I saw a post on Instagram with that being why we never see Crowley eat and I’m a picky eater who wants to read something self indulgent). Thanks!

“Hurry up! I want to get this damned flight over with!” Catra hollers from the ramp of their ship.
Adora just rolls her eyes fondly from across the hangar where she is saying goodbye to Bow and Glimmer. She holds a finger up behind her back. The resounding laugh is proof enough that her message was received.
“Are you sure you have everything? Emergency rations? Blankets?” Glimmer asks.
“I’m sure; don’t worry! We’ll be fine, back before you’ve even had time to miss us,” Adora reassures the two of them with a grin.
“Oh we miss you already,” Bow says, pulling her into a tight hug. “You know how to use the pads and how to set the ship to autopilot and--”
“Yes, Bow!” Adora cuts in with a laugh, she gives him a squeeze before pulling back, Glimmer takes his place. “We’ll be fine. Anyway, you can’t tell me the two of you aren’t looking forward to having some time to yourselves.”

1 year later and its about time they had some time just the two of them for their anniversary.

George’s best friend was hiding something. He saw it in the way Dream seemed to keep him at a distance, in the way Dream seemed to flinch away whenever he got too close. And George wanted to get too close. He didn’t quite understand it, how something too powerful to resist seemed to be pulling him towards Dream. And with a tyrant on the loose, the biggest event of the year to plan, and a sudden streak of odd behavior from Dream, George had hoped beyond anything else that it would all end well.
He was wrong, of course.
And really, he should have known better.

Karl Jacobs was leaning on his friend, red cup in hand, laughing happily. Sapnap didn’t know him then, didn’t know his name or anything about him, except his laugh and smile and purple sweater. He sat up, struggling to balance. Dream’s laughter cut through, interrupting Karl in Sapnap’s mind, and he clumsily hit Dream on the mouth to shut up.
“What is it?” Dream asked, grabbing Sapnap’s shoulder to keep him up.
“Pretty,” Sapnap said.

He could kiss him and maybe then, everything would come to life- opening doors that have been shut for so long, filling oceans with a fear of loving again. Maybe everything would burn and he knows he wouldn’t mind dancing in the flames with the other. He’s greedy, so greedy. The knight wants and wants more than he should, more than he knows is promised in a life such as his. But he can’t stop himself from wanting to dance with the man beside him, can’t stop himself from twisting each atom in his body as a shield for his prince. He wants to run his thumb along the side of a royal jaw, rub soft on bottom lips which will be blue and purple once he’s done with them.But he doesn’t.
