Moon liked his job as a butler.
Some would think otherwise given the way that he is treated, but that was false. The way Sir Billiam spoke and acted was notably different between public and private. Lashes would actually mean stern conversations, weeks without food would mean a mild slap of the wrist etc. Moon had realised that his master did this for appearances, the way he was treated appeared to be the same as how the other rich people treat their 'help', so his master simply did the same.

Summary
When Tommy introduced the idea of the lava ravine Wilbur was hesitant.
It was one of his craziest ideas yet, more than the lasers or the mob transformation and debatably worse than the natural disasters (Wilbur had easily succumbed to the Sky Gods' game that time, after they were done everyone had asked him what the hell that was about. He, however, was simply absent, silently cursing himself for falling for their tricks again).
But Tommy had seemed really excited at the prospect of getting Wilbur to join this challenge. The way the child looked up to him wasn't lost to the brunette and he knew Tommy had worked incredibly hard to make sure everything would work. So he accepted.

Techno's pretty sure he's the only one to notice it (Wilbur's mind has constantly been running a mile a minute since he made this country, Tommy's not perceptive enough to pick up on speech patterns) but it's there.

He knew that because of enderman genes he wasn't considered normal. That just sight of his face was considered terrifying. He could unhinge his jaw farther than anyone else, the lines of his mouth similar to that of a squiggle, and the back of his throat glowing purple and spitting particles. So he wore the mask. No matter how uncomfortable it was.
After all, he’s a freak. It was better that way. If only to avoid the fighting.
In which Ranboo learns that a home isn't just a roof over your head; it's a place where you can be yourself.

Techno gets these episodes were he needs to protect someone. It’s usually Phil who has to deal with the overprotective piglin hybrid. But Phil’s gone for the day and the voices shout at him. Shout at him to protect. And so he turns to Ranboo. He didn’t mean to wake the poor boy up so early in the morning. But he was his friend. Someone Techno knew deserved protection.
And now Ranboo is stuck with a overprotective Techno. The thing is, he didn’t even know it was happening. He just thought they were having breakfast.
