Four wanted to know what she had done in her past adventures because she gave up such small hints at a time. He wanted her to know she could depend on him because everyone else was still annoyingly cautious. Most of all, he wanted to know why the portals treated her so differently! It wasn’t safe to keep dropping them into new eras separated like this!

Zelda had requested his assistance, so Link set out to learn what he could to about these strange new threats. Encountering heroes from the past was a surprise, but it gave him hope to have friends by his side.
He did his best to hold onto that hope, but that is harder than it should be when his first impression isn’t all that great.
When all is said and done, Link - Wild - must decide if the Heroes of the Forgotten Past are worth opening up to.

Summary
In September of 1971, Severus Snape finds a forgotten portrait of the Slytherin family in a dark corner of the Slytherin Common Room. At the time, he has no idea that talking portrait will affect the rest of his life.
On 31st July 1995, Harry Potter disappears from Little Whinging a few minutes after midnight. The means of his departure are unfathomable, and the Order's only relief in their concern is the fact that Voldemort was not responsible.
The rest of Wizarding Britain is too busy tearing down their Wizarding Savior via the press to be much concerned, at least until certain Slytherin allies decide that enough is fucking well enough.

Part of it's because of his Quirk, probably. He's always listening for that reply. It's the opening, the chink in a person's armor that lets his own voice slip in and hijack their brain. But part of it is that most people are wary around him, so when someone does talk, particularly to him, it stands out.
