Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley are trapped, tied together back to back in a dank cellar. Unable to resort to miracles to free themselves, they must work together to find a solution before the dawn of the next day, or Crowley risks being brutally killed by the very people he was assigned to tempt.
A story set in the fifteenth century, which turns out to be little better than the one preceding it, featuring friendship, co-operation and the giving and receiving of stealth hugs.

Summary
When the former demon Crowley is surprised in his Mayfair flat by a visit from his erstwhile boss and their ex-Archangel partner asking for assistance, Crowley has that familiar sinking feeling that something he did in the past has come back to bite him on the arse.
When the current Supreme Archangel materialises in his flat shortly afterwards, Crowley knows the time has come for them to really talk at last. Just as soon as they’ve got rid of their visitors, that is.
A post Season 2 fix-it fic in which they communicate properly, and Aziraphale demonstrates just how crafty, and also loving, he can be. This is one for those who might like something genuinely soft and romantic after the ending to Season 2.

Summary
After his fight with Crowley over Holy Water in 1862, Aziraphale returns to his bookshop and falls apart. Crowley is similarly miserable. What if they didn't decide to just not see each other for 79 years, but got drunk and bickered about their disagreement instead?
A canon-divergent fix-it fic. With lots of kissing.
This was written in the innocent days before Season 2 came out so if you want a gentle getting together story this is spoiler free for that.

Summary
When two damaged people meet in a time of war, it is quite possible that anything might happen. They might change each other’s lives. They might even fall in love.
A human AU set at the time of the London Blitz featuring two lonely souls from very different worlds who belong together. And a lot of very necessary tea.
Written before Season 2 with a very happy ending.

I second that emotion by HolRose

Summary
Crowley and Aziraphale are exploring what it might mean to be together. As part of this, they find a way to view a series of very human stories in which couples find their way to love despite the problems and obstacles that life throws at them. On their way to a deeper understanding of just what close, loving relationships look like in humans, they find themselves becoming closer, and nearer to an acceptance of themselves and each other.
Very soft stories with happy endings, written to fulfil my prompts for the Good Omens Bingo 2021 event.
Complete
All of the fics have titles that come from songs that were released in 1967, a significant year for the Ineffable Husbands, partly because the music is fab, partly because it was the Summer of Love and that feels appropriate, partly because I am a nerd and I like a unifying theme (also, it helps with titles, and that’s useful - titles are difficult).

Summary
The private detective Aziraphale McFell and the thief Anthony Crowley have been friends for years. Maybe even more than friends if they are honest with themselves, which they rarely are. When a series of armed robberies strike weddings all over London, they decide to catch the criminals together to save their friends’ wedding.

Lovely friends entering in to a fake marriage to investigate a mystery AU. Crowley and Aziraphale are adorable, their friendship is strong, they are kind and companionable to each other and end up with a beautiful wedding (with interruptions). Adorable.

Summary
“You could shower at my place, if you like,” Aziraphale says.
He’s a step out of the lift before he realizes what he said. He quickly laughs, turning to face Crowley, to dismiss it as fast as it had come out, and sees he’s being stared at.
“You mean that?” Crowley asks, an arm out to keep the lift doors from closing. Aziraphale fights off the threatening blush. It won’t do to have Crowley know he’s practically foaming at the mouth to have him spend more time with him.
Because Crowley is his friend, his confidante. He can tell him anything.
Except Crowley is also devastatingly handsome.
---
Aziraphale is just being neighbourly, inviting Crowley over to use his shower while his bathroom is being remodelled. It has nothing to do with the pounding lust that fills him when he thinks of Crowley nude in his home. He's just being nice. Now if these pesky feelings would leave him alone...

Aziraphale and Crowley are neighbours. They work out how to be together despite Aziraphale second guessing everything in the most relatable way. Funny, romantic and sweet. ❤️

Summary
He didn’t need a meal with the angel, or oysters. But it was a novelty, and Crowley loved novelty. Even in Heaven no one had liked him. It was a meaningless concept Upstairs. Since becoming corporeal he’d found there were things he liked – wine, sun, warmth – but they were things, indifferent to his existence.
The angel was like wine and sun and warmth that liked him back. That guileless smile. That flush on the smile-plumped cheeks.
The angel was an idiot. But it would pass the time.
A poem, or a suite of music with recurring motifs, or a meditation on holding hands.

Bookmarker's Notes
Lovely journey through Crowley’s experiences of life on Earth in an iteration where he is much more suspicious of Aziraphale. A meditation on his trauma, denial of feelings and eventual acceptance of love. Also on touches across the ages. Beautiful prose and imagery as is a constant with this exceptional writer.
