What happens when one day, out of the blue, Annabeth Chase dissappears? And what happens when Percy and friends discover it has to do with her family history, and a prophecy even the gods seem to dread and fear?

Annabeth had blamed the gods for almost everything that had happened in her life ever since she was told of their existence. She had reasons to. All her life had been a cosmic joke poorly written by someone who had way too much imagination or was way too cruel, or probably a bad mix of both.
And, to be completely honest, it was fair for her to think so. The damn Prophecy was the gods' blame, with a little twist; it wasn't just the greek and roman gods. No, this one involved pretty much death, and also the end of the world. Oh, and her. Again.
Good thing (probably the only one) out of all of that situation was that at least, she had someone else to curse under her breath: her family.
Yes, she blamed her family aswell. Really, what are the chances of something like this happening to her, again? And why on hell would that mean the world's greatest enemy (no, it's not contamination) to awake if she turns twenty three?
