Oh my gosh this was SO FREAKING GOOD. The writing is so beautiful. The characterization is on point. I actually got emotional over Hopeful characters?? What?? BRO I LOVE THIS FIC SO MUCH.
It's the perfect example of what a well-written AU is capable of: fleshing out characters who didn't get the spotlight in canon, exploring the butterfly effects of a single change...I absolutely love it. This writer has a galaxy brain and I hope to absorb some of their brilliance through the magic of literary osmosis.
