Lan Wangji was used to Wei Ying being around.
It started on the first day of the semester. Lan Wangji was on his way out of the library, both arms laden with books his professor asked him to pick up for class, when out of the corner of his eyes he saw a black streak running towards him, and then a man hit and bounced off him, which resulted in him dropping all of his books. He turned to glare at the culprit, only to be momentarily dazzled by a sheepish grin as the man bent down and started gathering his books up for him.
