The years have not been kind to Harry's soul. Apathetic and numb, he has become but a spectator of life. Only one race has inspired his heart to hope; only one man may be able to inspire his heart to love.
So many years. I can't remember, can't recount them all. Most blur together now, a sea turning in my mind. Some though, some stand out. Long, flowing red hair, sparkling blue eyes. She was the only woman I ever loved. She gave me my children, a family, for the first time in my life. I thought we would grow old together.

Being the Master of Death was often a boring way to walk through the multiverse. Occasionally, Harry would find things to entertain himself. Which is why he was paying attention to when the daughter of one of his favorite mortals was suddenly fading out of exist in a tidal wave of temporal interference. Well, the upside of being pissed off was that he wasn't bored.

She fought in one war, only to be thrust into another. Well... at least the second one seemed easier... Right?
Being a halfblood was hell on Earth during Voldemort's war, but she had made it through.
She had once had one of the most promising futures as an International Dueling Champion, having already won several trophies and titles. Tutored from a young age in more magic than even the Malfoys, her parents had encouraged her to learn everything since her father’s family were some of the world's most prominent scholars, alchemists, spell-crafters, curse-breakers and ward-makers.
But none of that mattered because her mum was muggleborn. With her parents dead, her home destroyed and no other family, she didn’t have much tying her to Britain anymore.
That was lucky since she didn't think she would see Britain again...
