It starts with a casual, offhanded comment, just over 5 months into their relationship, when Dani wakes up one morning wedged awkwardly beneath one of the restraint straps and hopelessly tangled in the sheets. She laughs as she extricates herself from the makeshift prison, waking Malcolm from his fitful sleep. He notices her predicament and immediately moves to help, apologizing for putting her in such an uncomfortable situation, but she just turns her thousand-watt smile on him and pauses in her untangling to lean over and brush her lips against his.
“We should try this without the restraints one day,” she murmurs, lips still pressed lightly against his. Then she continues in her endeavour to unravel herself, finally getting to her feet and padding to the bathroom to get ready for the day, Malcolm watching her go with a fond smile that’s laced with a hint of uncertainty.

Summary
Dani Powell grew up hearing of how great it is to have a soulmate, someone destined for you and only you. The marks on her wrists, the telling of her platonic soulmates, she loved to look at and the bright blue stone in her chest was proof that she had a romantic soulmate and it was only a matter of time before she met them. As she grew older, she met her platonic soulmates and one of them, Malcolm Bright, was a little off. The way his expression would change when he looked at her stone, the way he himself never showed his own stone, everything was suspicious.
And she was determined to find out what's going on.
Malcolm Bright knew his soulmates, both platonic and romantic, were better off without him and he was determined to make sure he never met them. When he meets Dani Powell along with the others in the NYPD, he knows his mission is going to be a lot harder.

Summary
If Tony, Bucky or pretty much anybody that knew Peter had seen him that morning they would have smacked him upside the head. Helping people was great, everyone should give it a go, but when helping people puts you in danger it’s not so smart anymore.
AKA Peter can't get from Avenger tower to the subway without giving his winter clothes to homeless people and ends up with a severe case of hypothermia
