    Summary

In which Bakugou Katsuki learns saving is not always about blowing stuff up, cracking down on villains' plans or, even making use of his quirk in any significant aspect. It can be gruelling, tedious and heartbreaking. And it's funny, because he never really set out to save the brat in the first place.

    Or,

Bakugou acquires a snarky orange child.

We have fanarts! That's right, multiple.

[This story was born out of an entirely self-indulgent desire for me to read about Bakugou saving a kid, since that's all Midoriya seems to do. It spiraled into something else, something much more in-depth and soul searching, regarding parenting and abuse. Deals with heavy stuff, but overall wholesome and fluffy.

    P. S. The line after 'Or' is from a comment by SpiderEm :D]

    Summary

Bakugou learned how to hide a long time ago.

Anything that isn’t the customary rage people expect of him is locked down, shoved somewhere deep inside him and is left there to fester.

His pain, his fear, his hurt-

It all stays inside, behind the mask of anger he has worn for so long.

But when that mask cracks, and breaks, who will be there to pick up the pieces?

Maybe Bakugou’s tried and true method isn’t as effective as it once was.

Maybe, just maybe, he finally has people who care about him.

     -

or: the bakusquad show bakugou that he doesn’t have to suffer alone anymore.

    Summary

“Katsuki wasn't always so angry. Sure, no one would’ve described him as friendly, and he’d always had a short fuse, but it wasn’t always a permanent state of being.

He’s always angry because he decided when he was eight that anger was a very effective way to cover up fear, and shame, and every other repulsive emotion he was unceremoniously introduced to one cold night in December by the prying, invading hands of his father.”

    -

    or;

The Bakusquad are determined to become closer to their prickliest friend.

But what starts off as an innocent plan to get to know Bakugou - whose defensive walls are higher than Sero on a Friday night - they discover things far darker and scarier than they were prepared for.
