When the young and cheery Rey is fascinated by the vintage Jaguar 150 S Roadster her mysterious neighbour owns, a man so far from the usual cliché of a Jaguar owner, that it makes her way too curious. Against all odds, they bound over their love for cars, speed races, and how they both know the name of every Formula ONE champion. And yet, he doesn’t drive anymore. A shock at first for her. ‘You have a Jaguar! Are you insane!?‘ Then, concern –he always wears long sleeves, doesn’t smile easily, never shaves, barely speaks… It becomes clear the day she spots a long scar at the base of his neck which seems to run down his back. A car accident during a race years ago. Since then, impossible for him to sat behind the wheel –his passion now synonym of night terrors. She decides to change that.

This was not something Rey usually did. She didn’t usually go to parties, she didn’t usually strike up conversations with strikingly handsome men at said parties, and she didn’t usually kiss—passionately, repeatedly kiss—these men after only having known them for two hours or less. Her college classes haven’t even started yet, and she can already tell that this man that she knows only as Poe is going to be trouble. Better to get out while she has a chance.

Based off of the prompt I got on tumblr from an anon: I thought maybe we could have a story where Rey and Poe are attacked during a recon mission which results in Poe being severely injured and Rey having to care for him while figuring out how to get them both back to the resistance base. Romantic feelings emerge for the first time or grow stronger due to their situation.
