Summary
Kurapika leads the group along on horseback with Leorio and some of their best body guards. The group is flanked by the leftover soldiers, some on horseback others walking on foot, while Killua takes up the rear solo. Killua had insisted it be so since he would be the only one to notice an attack from behind anyways (that being his speciality). Kurapika acquiesced to his request easily as exhaustion weighed him down like a heavy rain would the leaves of a tree. He was even kind enough to lend Killua a horse.

Summary
They meet at the station. Killua has his off duty weapon concealed on his person but Gon does not. Not that Killua knows since Gon doesn’t mention his lack of a weapon. Gon rarely carried it at all since he didn’t like the weight of it. It reminded him of too many things, of his father, of how his life used to be. He wasn’t always a police officer, but he was always on the streets. Mito had taken care of him once upon a time but there was a time when he scrounged for himself and only himself.
He slept on park benches for a time; but that was a long time ago. Before Kite had pulled him out of that life, after he had joined the gang. Gon distinctly remembers meeting someone who reminded him of Killua, he had had a tattoo of a white dragon on his back, so beautiful.

Summary
Daimyo Kurapika was not only charismatic but generous. He had given Killua a chamber to retire to during his unforeseen stay at the Daimyo’s humble castle with its lavish chaniwa. The room was like the castle: small, but useful. It does its job and was surprisingly clean for an extra room (Kurapika had make sure everything is in the best shape possible no matter the season). Killua had no belongings to place since everything on his person, his weapons and clothes, were all he had and none of which he was willing to part with beyond sleep.

Summary
Gon places his revolver on the lane table and sighs. He looks up at the target, all six are perfect. Behind Gon, Killua hums in appreciation. Having this new partner at his back might actually be useful if he's that good of a shot every time.

Summary
Two stone lanterns signaled the entrance into the garden, their light long extinguished from their last use. Next to the lantern on the right was a beautiful tsukubai inscribed with a poem that Killua did not recognize. Gon stopped and grabbed the wooden ladle that lain across the water basin. He scooped up the water from the small chozubachi (basin) and poured it on his left hand and then his right. Afterwards he scooped more water and poured it again into his free hand and brought it to his mouth. Killua watched Gon purify himself, how easy it would be to slit his throat now while his mind was occupied with the ritualistic entrance to the garden. Killua keeps his daggers sheathed.

Summary
It was a short walk to the precinct where Killua was going to start working at today. Recently he was promoted to Second Grade Detective-Investigator because of two large drug deals he foresaw which allowed the NYPD a leg up on the recent emersion of a new organized crime group. Somehow the idiots still decided to move him to a different precinct to focus on homicides in the south end instead of continuing to bust cocaine dealers that were rolling in blood money; He's not really bitter about it.
Okay, Killua is bitter.
