    This story takes place after Brotherhood, but before the game. Slightly altered to fit the setting.

    Prompto turns eighteen this year, the minimum age requirement to join the Crownsguard. It's his wish to be by Noctis' side. Unfortunately, his father doesn't take his decision lightly and wants to keep him at home. Prompto has always been in charge of cleaning, cooking and anything else since his mother was killed by an MT. Of course, his father blames him for it. Somehow, a switch flicked in the back of his head when he heard about his son wanting to leave home to join the Crownsguard and will do anything in his power to stop him. It puts a great weight on his shoulders as the King had already appointed him as part of the Crownsguard as he's always been by his friend's side to begin with.
