Summary
"What was that?" Touya kindly asked, encouraging Shouto to answer.
"'m not a hero..." Shouto finally answered. Touya put the towel down beside him and gently took Shouto's face in his hands.
"Hey.... Shouto, look at me, please?" When Shouto finally looked at him, Touya gave him a smile.
"You are a hero. You who stood against a villain and survived, you who are here, uninjured and alright. You beat that villain and saved Mom. That makes you a hero." Shouto stared at him, stars in his eyes. They quickly diminished when he noticed the bruise on Touya's cheek.
Shouto took the towel from the ground and slowly, with his still too-short arms straining to reach, dragged it across Touya's bruise. "That means you're a hero, too! You saved me and Natsuo and Fuyumi! You always save us! You're the bestest hero!" Shouto decided, determinedly looking Touya in the eyes. Touya grinned at him, before reaching out and dragging him into an embrace.
"Thank you, Shouto." Shouto hugged him back, a small smile on his face.Touya's face, which was hidden to Shouto, was wet from tears streaming from his eyes, his arms almost clinging to Shouto's small frame.
