The fact that Kirishima was on his own, outside of school grounds? So convenient. It would at least be an hour before anyone realised he was missing, and All for One only needed a couple minutes to make the boy disappear.

Though with lack of sleep comes headaches, migraines. Flashing lights in his vision and sickness pooling in his stomach. Until it became something more. Until the lights in his eyes sparked lost memories, and he lost control of his hands.

Summary
The last thing Kirishima expected was to see the Crown Prince step foot into his small Trinket Shop. But he's even more surprised when he's invited to a Banquet the next week. He may be well traveled, but he has no idea how he's supposed to act inside the palace walls, surrounded by nobles of varying importance and credibility. His confusion only increases when he sees familiar faces of old friends, and begins to be doted on by the Queen, herself. Sure, his mom might have been her friend growing up, but as far as Kirishima was concerned, he was just another commoner in the village.
Bakugou is even more confused. When his mother hounds him to invite a peasant, or commoner, as she calls them, into the palace walls, he has no idea what she's thinking. She may have grown up in the Village, but that doesn't mean they need to start inviting other villagers into the palace. And when she starts hovering over the red-haired male, calling him by his first name and asking about his travels, Bakugou knows nothing will end well for him.

He’s Eijirou Kirishima! The Unbreakable Red Riot! Nothing will ever make him break! He’s the toughest, manliest man out there!
Yet, behind closed doors, there are those days.
When the voice in his head screams. When a loud noise makes his heart race for the next thirty minutes. When his fingernails dig into his shoulders as he takes deep breaths. When the second he does something wrong or that he feels is wrong, he clams up and is flooded with guilt. When he doesn’t speak unless spoken to, and only replies with the fewest amount of words possible. When the fake smiles and the fake affirmations come to the surface.
Then the memories come in.
They flood in faster than he can stop them, and he’s stuck thinking about those things until he finds something else to do.
So that’s why he asked Jirou, in their first year, about music. Happily, Jirou taught him to play the keyboard, which he grasped quite quickly. In fact, by their third year, he was writing his own songs.
