A change came over the room instantly. Shouto was just about alert enough to recognise the shift in the crowd around him, but it was hard to keep focused as a kind of pink haze descended over him, and he almost staggered. He had been tipsy before, but this was like he'd plunged into falling-down-drunk with no transition stage. He stumbled backward, catching himself on Bakugou who moved forward to seize his elbow.
"Woah there, rich boy," Bakugou said. "Can't handle your liquor?"
"No," Shouto gasped, looking around. He couldn't seem to make the words come out, but something was undeniably wrong. "There's something—something in the alcohol."
While at a charity event, Todoroki's drink is spiked. Bakugou helps him through the fallout.
