Summary
So I noticed that there's been a certain amount of disdain for self-insert fics, whether they be explicitly self-insert, or involve OCs. So I decided to write one, because let's face it, the world's currently a mess and a bit of good fun never goes amiss.
This is the universe in which the Autobots settled down, got established in the southwestern United States and after a while, entered into various research partnerships with a major university. Vaguely Bayverse with overtones of IDW and G1, and centered around the lives of graduate students involved in this research partnership. Entirely intended to be fluff and humor, but this is me writing it...

Summary
Megatron sees the doom of all Cybertronians creeping upon them; a divided, dwindling species, surrounded by enemies. To cure that division, he surrenders himself to the Autobots to attain a peace available no other way. To remedy their dwindling numbers, he accepts a modification to his newest body.
But Shockwave had his own plans for Megatron's role in Cybertron's recovery, and Megatron finds himself paying a higher price for Cybertron's future than he ever imagined possible. Now, Drift and Ratchet must race against time to save their dearest enemy... before Megatron, and the hope he represents, are lost forever.

The way Prowl became aware of the problem was when he stepped into an interrogation room with a plate of energon goodies and two cubes of sweetened midgrade (balanced precariously on said plate) and as pleasant an expression as he was capable of mustering, and the very low-ranking Decepticon (who was nevertheless part of a very important operation whose purpose Prowl had yet to figure out, hence his personal handling of this debriefing) cuffed to the table burst into terrified tears.
Prowl, regardless of reputation, wasn’t a particularly cruel mech, and he hadn’t gone out of his way to cultivate a terrifying reputation (at least not yet). He found this response surprisingly distressing.

Summary
Cybertron hurtles toward war, and only a handful of mecha see it. Not Megatron, whose inflammatory writings gain him agonizing attention from those on high. Not Ratchet, the Iacon Medical Center’s most prized practitioner, whose Dead-End clinic remains the worst-guarded secret on Cybertron. Not Overlord, whose iron hold over Cybertron’s underworld is beginning to falter. Not Orion Pax, whose concern over the sudden silence of one of his favorite writers drives him to take up his hero’s pen. Not Terminus, who only wants to survive.
But Trepan and Senator Shockwave both know well what’s coming. One aims to use a defiant miner’s fall to crush the aspirations of the masses. The other wants to use that miner’s triumph to ignite them. Neither much cares about Megatron himself, or his ultimate survival.
Therein lies their fatal error.

Summary
Cybertronians have developed many wonderful and many hideous technologies. When one of the most horrible falls into the hands of Silas and MECH, and is then used on a captive Optimus Prime, Megatron finds that there are some things he will not tolerate being inflicted on even his greatest enemy.
But MECH is nothing if not resilient, and they are far from the only human evil desperate to obtain such a powerful weapon. Autobots, Decepticons and their human allies must choose between longstanding enmities and allegiances and the freedom of a species.

Summary
Vos is a powerful and secretive city, rich in ore, culture, and military might. Depended on for their power by the Prime and Lord High Protector, their ancient religious practices have been allowed to form into their own sect uncontested.
In the city of spires, a Seeker in their prime is kept underground, without access to air and sky, to eventually go insane and in turn absorb all of Vos's bad fortunes and fears. Beautiful lives depend on the terrible suffering of one, and a blind optic is turned to their fate.
A "volunteer," they say.
The current flightless one has not lost his mind, frame suffering with neglect. He waits in illness, missing what was stolen from him and alight with vengeance, for something to change.
