What if Lucrecia Crescent had a sister who would've given anything to keep her son, Sephiroth, safe from Hojo's experiments?
Violet Crescent wanted nothing to do with the Jenova Project, but after discovering Vincent Valentine's desire to keep Lucrecia from the experiments, she agreed to take her nephew's place as the perfect test subject replacement. However, Hojo broke their deal and, now possessing a new, willing specimen, decided to move forward Sephiroth's testing. Learning from Lucrecia's methods, Hojo injected his own creation into Violet in hopes of creating another, more powerful monster.
The day Hojo set Violet free was the day her thirty years of utter torture began. Three decades later, she begins a new journey with Avalanche and another very familiar face, setting out on the path to destroying the mad scientist and his creations once and for all.
Very closely follows the storylines of FFVII, Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus.
Amarhi Raines is a young girl with a strange affinity for magic who happens to be in New Bodhum when the Pulse fal'Cie is discovered on Cocoon. With no way of contacting her remaining family, she's placed on the same Purge train as Lightning Farron and Sazh Katzroy, soon to be swept up in the tides of their quest to defeat the fal'Cie.
Now a l'Cie, she struggles to find the path to completing her focus. Along the way to saving themselves and Cocoon, she discovers she has a lot to learn, both from the others that carry the same burden and from the past.
A witty sky pirate with impenetrable walls, Shae finds herself swept away in the currents of Princess Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca's Resistance when she attempts to steal from the Rabanastre's palace treasury the very same night as a simple thief and a pair of adept pirates.
Carried on with promises of treasure worth enough gil to pay back her debts and repair her airship, she tags along for the ride in hopes of getting long-awaited revenge on Vayne Carudas Solidor, a man she appears to possess endless ties to.
At the end of the day, all Balthier really wants is some answers.
