It wasn't like Castiel wasn't expecting it to happen. Their Potions professor warned them just last week that they'd be covering - and even making their own - Amortentia love potion this week. Even so, Castiel was not prepared for the aromas he smelled, nor was he prepared to actually list them aloud with all of his classmates and their teacher watching.

Summary
Two minutes. Sam had lasted all of two minutes before he tried again to get his lovers up and about. By this point, the stench had gotten worse, and Sam hated it too, but he refused to take a shower without Eileen and Gabriel.
It was also at this time that Dean and Cas didn't want him to be anywhere near them unless he showered. Sam explained the situation to them, but he didn't get any sympathy, only disgusted glares at his sweat-drenched jogging wear and nearly a full can of Pumpkin Spice It Up!-scented air freshener Dean sprayed throughout the rooms they most-frequented in the bunker.
Cas then kindly, but very firmly, told Sam that under no uncertain terms was he was allowed anywhere near those rooms until after he showered.
Okay, great. So, a few minutes of walking around with sweat and blue balls later, Sam tried to get his lovers out of bed one more time. This was it, he decided. One more try. If they still refuse to get up, he was showering alone and taking care of "Little Sam" on his own.
Not that he wanted to, of course. He really, really wanted Eileen and Gabriel to join him. Okay, okay. One more try. One more time.

He jumped as the lamp on Gabriel's side of their bed switched on. Sam saw the worry on his boyfriend's face. "Sammykins? What's wrong, Sam-a-lam?"
Sam's breathing hitched. "Ni-nightmare. About the night. That night. When my - my mom..." He couldn't say it. He burst into anguished, frustrated tears as Gabriel gathered the taller man into his arms, rubbing soothing circles into his back and whispering soft words of comfort.
