Elisabeth Bennett has become Elia Beltrán. A London born woman of Hispanic and Caribbean descent(aka afro-latina). And Mr Darcy is now Alexandre Dargas who hails from a wealthy & privileged family in the French Riviera.Elia, a dancer/photography lives in Camden with her older sister Jazmin, their mutual friend Cecilia Lorupe, and Cecilia's infant daughter Mariah. Elia and Jazmin's father, Noah a music producer for record company owned by Catherine Dargas. The Beltrán family find their lives are altered upon meeting her latest artist, Carlos Barrera and his friend. Alexandre Dargas, who's also the son of Catherine herself.
