    Summary

Geralt is just supposed to pass through the quiet Lettenhove area. He's not anticipating being begged by its people to help save their viscount from a curse that keeps him from daylight. Lord Jaskier, they call him, and he's likely dying.

As Geralt struggles to untangle the ugly web of history that has lead to the increasingly complicated curse, he finds himself spending more and more time with the strange young viscount and wondering just what he might have been before the curse, and who he might be after. But things are not always as they seem, and as the curse tightens its grip on Jaskier, Geralt is forced to face the fear of failing yet another person whose choices were stolen from them.

    Or-

Jaskier is kept from becoming a bard. Geralt finds him anyway.

    Summary

“How do you have my number?”
There's a sound like a tongue clicked against teeth on the other side of the phone, “What do you mean, how? There is nothing I do not know, Geralt.” says Yennefer, with a condescending tone. “What is peculiar in this is not me knowing your number, but why you have a cellphone in the first place.”
    Geralt sniffs, “It's because Lambert–”
“You know, I do not really care.” Yennefer interrupts him, “I need your help.”
“Hm, that's new.” Geralt raises his eyebrow. Ciri, on the Roach's passenger seat, clearly hears the surprise in his voice, because her head snaps up from her videogame and curiosity glints in her eyes.
“Yes, I know. I am surprised myself. But still, I need your tracking skills: I am searching for a missing person. It might be... difficult to find him, though.”
“Why?” he asks, while Ciri leans on him to listen through the phone. Geralt move slightly his phone away from his ear so she can hear easier.
“Well, for instance, he was two when he disappeared.”
    “And?”
    “And now he's twenty.”

Found family, comedy shenanigans, two very good parents™ and Jaskier is just… Jaskier. So obviously Geralt falls in love.

    Summary

“You’d like us to be intimate then?” Geralt inquired earnestly. Jaskier nearly choked on his spit.

    “We’re married, aren’t we?”

“Plenty of married couples would rather clean gutters than see each other bare. And you have that tavern girl of yours, from the village-- hush, that’s not an admonishment. I just assumed you’d been… put up for auction, when a groom was requested in the place of a bride. That you had no earnest, physical interest in men. Or if you did, that I was out of your age bracket. Which is acceptable. I have less than no interest in traumatizing you, or anyone, with my attentions.”

It was beginning to sink in for Jaskier that maybe, just maybe, he had in fact been joined in holy matrimony with a perfectly lovely man.

    Summary

The Blue Mountains rose far away on the horizon. In their vast expanse, they shielded the northern kingdoms from Haakland and Zerrikania. At their feet, somewhere, laid Dol Blathanna. From them, the Yaruga river was born and against them crashed and pushed through the Gwellench, also known as the White River.

By its side walked a Witcher, following its course up to the north of Kaedwen. Kaer Morhen valley waited for him at the end and in it the ruins he called home. Alongside him tagged his faithful horse. The mare, strong and willing, carried his silver sword and his saddlebags. Willingly too, someone else followed their every step.
