Summary
The change is strange and overwhelming, he soon comes to realise. There's colour in everything. Yuji observes the way the sky rises with yellow and oranges, to set with blues that fade to pinks and purples, only to end with a deep black. He sees the way the sun burns so bright, the otherwise harmless yellow burning his eyes until he's forced to look away. The green of the grass and the vibrancy resulted from hours of costly care. The tinge of pink on the cheeks of lovers as they kiss each other goodbye in the morning.

Summary

Itadori’s head turned just as the body hit the wall, some of the man’s blood splattering onto Itadori’s hand that still gripped the doorhandle. The body sunk to the ground lifelessly, a trail of blood dragging down the stone wall of the bar as he moved. The man’s hand dropped to his side, landing just a hair’s breadth from Itadori’s shoe.
“Oi!” A voice called out from behind him.
Itadori flinched, spinning round to see who had called him.
He was met with the barrel of a gun, pointing directly between his eyes.

Summary
The first time he sees it, he chases the color across campus, eyes settling on the person it belongs to. A color he thinks he’s imagined, a glimpse of pastel tufts against lush green grass, not yet browned by autumn.
The moment lasts only seconds. A boy laughing in a large group of friends, haloed by sunlight and smiling faces. He might as well be an ocean away.
