October 20th has been a difficult day for Keith for a long time. He's always spent the day isolating himself.
Until now.
This year he has friends. Friends who have no respect for privacy and who overreact. But who ultimately have good intentions and just want to help.

Summary
Lance was on a high. Hunk chewed out a bully in front of the whole class, Pidge corrected their science teacher (which isn't really unusual but it was still hilarious), and Keith and Shiro were finally coming to dinner with his family and Hunk, Pidge, and Matt. Nothing could ruin this day.
"Now, is that any way to greet your father when you walk in the door, Leandro?"
And then his father showed up.

Summary
Sometimes a family is made up of a mother, a father, and their child. And sometimes it's made up of a hot mess with a robot arm, his dumpster-fire of a bff, and an adopted traumatized little brother with more common sense than both of them combined. Oh, and the extended family made up of inexplicable friendships and 'adultier adults'. Both types have one thing in common though.
