Summary
Trying to get his photography career off the ground, James comes up with an idea to do a couples photo shoot...with two complete strangers (this is apparently a recent trend. go google it if you're curious. I couldn't believe it until a 'friend' of mine got dragged into one, hence the inspiration for this story)
He already has one person in mind, his reclusive friend Lena, who seems adamant to stay single forever after a messy split with her ex. And after a lot of convincing from her sister, Kara agrees to participate in the shoot as well. Neither Lena nor Kara expect anything to come of it. It's just a photo shoot, after all. But perhaps James is just as good a matchmaker as he is a photographer...

“Good.” Kara reached for Lena’s laptop and closed it shut before gesturing for the couch. “That means work is over too for the rest of the night.”
Lena huffed. “You can’t tell me what to do. I’m literally your boss’ boss.”
“You’re in my apartment and it’s past work hours.” Kara shrugged. Lena stared at her as if she was considering refuting that truth. “Will you please just let me take care of you before you sneeze your human virus all over my dinner table?”
or Lena gets sick, Kara takes care of her, Streaky makes a cameo, and stupid people do stupid things but eventually things work out somehow
