It had been --the professor paused to think, glancing to the calendar in his HUD-- three days since his last maintenance. Membrane huffed at himself. It was not like him to skip maintenance for that long. He had been busy, but there was no excuse. He needed to take care of himself.
He was taking care of himself, he reasoned, mid shower with hand easing south. Fleshly desires being ignored made for pent up energies, creating restlessness and poor performance. So be it.
