In the wasteland of a post-apocalyptic world, the undead roam and abound, resources are scarce and every last heart beating is left to fence for their own safety by any means necessary – lie, cheat, steal, and kill. As the last bastions fall one after the next, survivors scatter with every wind in the vain hope of finding the respite they so ardently crave. Vaults are rare and prized and lending a helping hand to fellow travelers has fallen out of practice. When raids of the living dead leave families torn apart and sow grief in every soul, when science has gone too far and harms the very people it was meant to protect, what choice is there but to spend every last effort to find a better home, even at a cruel cost? If they can learn again to love and commit to one another, will our broken heroes ensure safety for their loved ones or will the undead finally infect the whole world once and for all?

Summary
For a week, they didn't talk.
