Summary
Why did Bronte have to come back? Why? He was ruining everything, just as Dorian always knew he would. He would burden his friends, he would put his brother in danger, he would cause them all pain. He was as useless as he had always been and now their lives rested on his shoulders
The night before the Ball, Dorian reflects on what could have been and begins to spiral. Luckily, Orym is there to to help remind him who he really is.

Summary
He set aside his lute, vowing someday to never leave himself behind in a room like this again. He gathered his courage and walked towards the main hall. The voices became clearer as he grew closer, snippets of conversations making their way to his ear—what handsome boys, such a good and noble family, would be so lucky to marry into the Wyvenwinds.
Brontë shook his head, his resolve growing stronger. It might be stupid, it might be dangerous, but he would escape from this life. He would forge his own way; he would find a way.
Dorian always wanted more for life than what was planned for him. Music had been his escape, always seeming to turn to an old tale with a familiar tune. Finding solace in the story of another whose dreams would carry them far from home, he tries to find the strength to begin his own journey.

Summary
“You what?” He almost sounded angry, the exact thing Dorian was trying to avoid.
“I know, I know, I know,” Dorian pleaded, reaching out to grab Orym’s hands, feeling as though that was the only thing keeping the other man from running to everyone else and telling them of his stupidity. “Please please please don’t be mad.” Orym stayed quiet, focus seeming to be on their joint hands for the moment. Normally, Dorian would have felt a thrill run through him at being this close to Orym, touching him in such a way, but at this point he couldn’t tell what were butterflies and what were heart palpitations.
Missing scene after Dorian's return to the Spire by Fire and his dread of telling Orym about the Sending Stone. Cute boys each having their moment of panic before more fluff.

Dorian paused for a moment. “Do you think they can see us from up here?” Orym looked over at him, a questioning look on his face but intrigue in his eye. “I mean, we are pretty high up. If we weren’t so close to the edge, no one could probably see a thing unless they were on a surrounding rooftop.
“Getting ideas for later, Storm?”
Cute missing scene with Dorian and Orym on the roof of the Dreamscape Theater. Just cute boys being cute.

Summary
“Broken can still be beautiful,” she whispered, running her fingers through his hair. “But how about this? I can teach you a trick that will help, should you ever pick some flowers again and they end up a little smushed. Okay?”
“Okay,” he said, sitting up straighter and giving Keyleth his full attention. He loved watching her show off her magic skills and loved even more when she would show him and the other children how to do some of the tricks. Magic wasn’t Orym’s strong suit, but he was fascinated by it all the same.
Keyleth held out her hand and started to wave the other over her palm. “You remember the song we learned last time we were planting in the gardens? The song that helps the flowers grow?” He nodded excitedly. “Flower gleam and glow. Let your power shine. Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine.”
Orym uses druidcraft and the language of flowers to express his love at several points in his life.

Summary
“This next bit is important,” Aziraphale said, reaching up and resting a gentle fingertip against Crowley’s sunglasses. “I would like to look into your eyes while I say it. May I?”
Crowley gave a shrug and made a noise that wandered somewhere in the direction of noncommittal.
“No is a perfectly acceptable answer,” Aziraphale said gently, pulling his hand back and still looking so keenly happy, like maybe Crowley was the thing he liked looking at most in the entire world.
Or maybe that was just what Crowley hoped for because that’s how he felt when he looked at Aziraphale. “Yes,” he said gruffly, because he didn’t have to hide anymore, and the angel deserved to see him sometimes.

Summary
Ed loves Stede, he knows that. He loves his soft words and his flowers and his silly nightgowns and everything about him. But he can’t find the words. How do you tell your boyfriend you love him without telling him? With a big romantic gesture, of course.

Summary
“Look at that,” Stede said softly, and Ed did. He looked down at the scrap of silk he’d carried in his pocket for the last twenty-some years, and how it was now folded neatly into a pocket square, probably the way it was always meant to be.
“You wear fine things well,” Stede said, looking at Ed as if supremely pleased with himself, and he was beautiful, so fucking beautiful in the moonlight. He let out a little huff of a laugh, all he felt capable of, while his mind battered him like waves on the side of the ship. Nothing in his life, not one fucking thing, had ever prepared him for this moment. Nothing had ever been soft. He’d been chasing treasure for his entire existence, and he really, honestly thought that, fuck it all, he might have found it. The softness, the fine thing he’d been hunting his whole life, might be standing in front of him right now.
And Ed had always been a greedy bastard. He wanted more of it, all of it.
So without allowing himself a moment to think, he leaned forward and caught Stede Bonnet’s mouth in a kiss.
An AU in which Ed actually lands that kiss, and the story of what happens after.- Language:
