Sherlock defeats the rest of Moriarty's organisation in only a few months. The day he arrives back in London is actually the day that Joan is in labour.

    Summary

    Essentially the Death Note series, taken in a different direction and with an OC thrown in the mix. The first story, "Story of the Century" concerns the Kira case proper with a focus on L's side. "Anecdotes" are a collection of oneshots based on "Story of the Century" in chronological order in accordance to the storyline. The sequel, "And The Story Continues" details the events following four years after the first story. Better than it sounds, hopefully.
