Summary
“You’re still in this shitty game with me. You hear me? You wake up.”
There's a fire burning its way through his guts and his first thoughts through the thick darkness surrounding his thoughts are: Maybe this is hell. Andy's voice and flames. Sounds about right.
Booker wakes to Andy's head butting against his.
The calluses on her fingers drag over the scorched, healing skin at the back of his neck.
Again.

Summary
"Or we could travel? Perhaps northwards. Remember Ranrike? I've missed the hot stews we used to eat in the winter."
"Missed Ranrike? But it's so cold!" protested Andromache. "You complained about the ice and the hard ground the whole time we were there."
"So, are you saying you'd prefer another desert?"
They'd always have to move on...but with all the time in the world, their journeys would lead them back to much-loved places.

Summary
The stories say there is a ship that sails on the furthest edges of space. It's said to have left Earth with the first settlers, those intrepid and brave explorers hoping to build a new home amongst the distant stars.
They say the ship has a crew of just five; old warriors who know their swords from their blasters, and can wield both just as well to protect those lost in the dark.
A ghost ship in every way, they’ve put their souls into it and their very spirits are entwined in the wiring.
If you’ve made a name for yourself off broken backs, if you leave ruined ships floating in space and jettison bodies into the icy black, well, those same stories warn that you should fear crossing their path.
After all, how can you outrun a ghost ship? The answer’s simple: you can’t.
With all the time in the universe, it’ll run you down. There’s no corner, chartered or uncharted, for you to hide in. And if you’re looking to test yourself against them, to trap them, to see what a ghost crew really looks like...don’t.

Summary
The Doctor wrinkles her nose at the lot of them and waves a welcoming hand back at him. “But seriously, you must have wondered how it all happens. A once in a lifetime opportunity, O. Right here, right now...and then, somewhere or anywhere.”
It grounds him when she uses his misnomer.
He wrings his hands as though he’s unsure of the offer, buries the one final thought commiserating the plans he had set in place that'll now fall, and then takes a tentative step forward. “You’re right! You’re right, that’s the kind of invitation someone would be mad to turn down.”
The Master flings his arms out, elbows locked in tight to his ribs, playing the part of a researcher finally allowed into the field, of a penpusher struggling to contain his excitement, and falls into line with the rest of her human companions with nothing apart from the clothes on his back.
“Alright!”
Or...the Skyfall AU where the Master gets invited on board as O, and decides to go along with it until he can dramatically steal the TARDIS. Only it doesn't work out as planned.

Summary
There’s a yellowing bruise on Andromache’s cheek, and it drags her back to the long hours chained up and waiting for sunlight, waiting for the pins in the wall to give way. It takes her back to Lykon dying on the battlefield and how the suddenness of it had been accompanied by overwhelming grief.
It is a recollection made unwillingly. A reminder that they had not fought hard enough to escape the so-called witch finders until it was too late, and by then, they were trapped.
Her dry lips part, and Quynh says the first full sentence she's been thinking of since she stepped foot on land again. “I have been waiting for this for a long time.”
Before that, it had only been a wild scream choked off by salt water.
“I know you have.” Her eyes dart away, the line of her neck twists, and Quynh sees that she still wears her gifted necklace. “I have too.”

Summary
The feeling that hasn’t changed, hasn’t shrunk itself down to a convenient portable size, is flight. It fills up her whole soul.
She tilts herself to shear between buildings, one wingtip skimming inches above the fleeing crowd, and she counts down the seconds before she breaks cover. On her two tours she was always in mountain ranges. Busting bunkers, she knows now, was a waste of the Falcon — of something capable of threading this needle’s eye between too-close condos. There’s so much more she could do.
If she didn’t have to think about this FUBAR situation, all the smoking cars, betrayal and death around every corner, she’d be having such a good time right now.

Standing there, head tilted inquisitively towards him with a gentle smile is the most beautiful man he’s ever seen. He’s as tall as Joe himself with longish dark hair and stunning eyes the colour of the Italian Rivera. It looks like St. John’s Ambulance service hired a model for their uniform.

“Baba?”

Summary
Featuring illustrations by andromachete, aka venompunk!
Her name was not always Andromache. Betrayed in battle and left to die, she rose again. For centuries after, she led her people, a warrior queen blessed by the gods - perhaps a god herself. She lived through so much: the domestication of horses, the development of written language, the collapse and emergence of countless cultures and civilizations.
Yet it was not just loneliness that compelled her to leave her people behind. It was something else.
This is a story of Andy's first three millennia of immortality: what she gained and lost, how she endured, and why Quỳnh changed everything.
