Where does technology end and magic begin? Kaiba thought he needed a duel. Atem thought he needed to help Kaiba accept the inevitable. But neither stopped to ask themselves what “closure” means in a world where wish fulfillment is possible. And both forgot that when you chase after something so desperately, you run the risk of losing sight of just what it is that you’re longing for. Set at the end of the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie, Dark Side of Dimensions, but the story stands on its own.
