Summary
If this were anything like the comics, Izuku Midoriya being quirkless would be the norm while heroes would be treated as a rarity. As it stands, everyone’s got a super power, except for Izuku, of course. No worries, though, because he’s over it (nope) and has moved on to bigger and better things (again, nope) like working at a tiny comic book shop and indulging in stories where being able to lift a bus with your bare hands was deemed impossible until proven otherwise.
Oh, and running into your heroic ex-boyfriend? Also unlikely. But Izuku’s life isn’t like a comic book (maybe?) and Katsuki Bakugou is standing right in front of him: still perfect, still handsome, and still putting his combat booted foot in his mouth.
[Or: AU where Izuku works at a comic book shop because that’s as close to a hero as he’s gonna get, and Katsuki plays the part of heroic ex-boyfriend who is good at everything except winning Izuku back... maybe]

Summary
Ten years ago, Charles and Erik were bitter enemies in college. Now Erik runs a mutant community center, and Charles is a successful physician. When the community center launches a volunteer-run free clinic focused on mutant health, their paths cross once again. Old wounds are reopened, and old grudges spring back to life. Summary
Erik doesn’t like Charles Xavier. Not one bit. Not his impeccable mannerisms, not his spotless clothes, not his winning smile. Or how the human likes to curry favor with literally every mutant or other member of oppressed minorities he encounters.
Still, there is something about his fellow college student that intrigues Erik. Makes him want to push the boy, tear down his arguments, and, just to shut him up, kiss his cherry red-

Maybe falling for a human isn’t that bad. Certainly worth a try. Especially since Xavier doesn’t seem to be averse to the idea himself.But months later, things change. Or rather, a certain someone does. And nothing is ever going to be the same.
