With Scott and his pack unable (or unwilling) to properly look after the territory once protected by the Hales, Beacon Hills is growing even more dangerous. They may not have an Alpha, but there's no denying that a pack is still forming around the Stilinskis - especially Stiles. When push comes to shove, they'll do what they need to protect each other and their territory. All they need is a Spark, and then everything will change.

She started to pack up her painting supplies, singing softly under her breath.
"Summertime...and the livin' is easy...fish are jumpin'...and the cotton is high...oh, your daddy's rich...and your momma's good lookin'...so hush little baby...don't you — holy hell!"
She jumped, the palette falling from her hands. A man was standing amongst the trees, just... watching her.
She blinked, at first thinking that she must be imagining things. He was so still, almost invisible among the tree trunks. Then the frozen shock gave way to a hot rush of anger. No one was supposed to be here. No one. Xavier owned the land for miles around.
"Hey!" she called out angrily, taking a few steps forward.
She saw his eyes widen as he stumbled a step backwards. For some reason, his startled response made her anger spike even higher.
"Hey, you!" she yelled. And then he was... just gone, melting away into the forest as if he had never been there.

Summary
In December 1944, the entire nation loves Rebecca Lawrence - "America's Most Beloved Homemaker." Her columns about leading the ideal life in the country help lift people's spirits on the home front during World War II. But when her publisher asks her to host a war hero for Christmas dinner, the world is in danger of learning the truth ... which is that "Rebecca Lawrence" is imaginary. Really, she's a combination of Raven's snappy writing and Charles' knowhow in the kitchen.
However, this war hero, Erik Lehnsherr, is headed to Connecticut, so Raven and Charles have no choice but to find a way to make the imaginary real - at least, just for Christmas. Charles thinks they can pull it off, at least until he opens the door to see Erik and falls in love at first sight.
(Kaydeefalls asked for a fusion, any fusion. So naturally I decided to mix XMFC with a 1940s Christmas movie.)

No powers au that takes place at the end of ww2. Charles and Raven are siblings living in nyc writing a "homemaker" column pretending to be America’s best housewife but then their editor invites herself and a newly returned war hero—Erik—to their home for Christmas. There’s pancakes, a cow, fake baby, one horse open sleigh, and Charles has a limp. Very funny, not stressful, Hank plays jazz piano.
Yahtzee has tons of other amazing fic in a bunch of fandoms. -

The entire Wizarding community seems to be speechless, over the edge and just breathless. Hopeless, they're head over heels in the moment. Breaking off long-standing relationships and forsaking personal vows, everyone's taken a flying leap and fallen in love. There must be something in the water.
