“Mari,” the body of something whispered into her ear, quivering in a sort of amusement when her eyes shot open in response, “Do you blame yourself?”
“...What?” She asked, a sob stuck in her throat that she refused to let free.
The corpse’s other hand grasped at her shirt.
“Guilt,” it said simply, “Over that situation.”
“...What situation…?” She whispered, eyes creaking shut and beginning to leak tears.
In her surprise, she opened her eyes and saw him.
“The Accident,” Sunny said.

Summary
When she’d first begun constructing Headspace there was a certain discourse to her creations, they were odd, mismatched, and always screaming out her thoughts. The cat that would only give nonsense answers, the beings that would stand behind her and lumber about without colour, even a few she’d rather not even remember for fear of their return. It was chaos, and, for a time, she’d basked in it, but it was always destined to evolve as she spent more and more hours sculpting it, growing it like a blooming bud. Nights once spent reveling in unseen feelings of the days were shifted, morphed, coloured in by memories like a child’s scribbles in a book. She wanted it to be loving, to be beautiful, and the first thing she’d put into that picture perfect world was her perfect, little Sunny.
He was her favourite thing in the world, in both worlds, and something crushed her every time she woke up alone.

Like the keys of a piano, she was black and white.

“I think I’d rather be pure white.”
No more oily blood. No more ratty grey clothes. No more real. Just...White, just like the day she was made.
She doesn’t pick up her books, just starts walking home, past the blood, past the bodies, past every single fake person in their tiny, little world. The Elevator speaks, but doesn’t scare her, her home is quiet, but she doesn’t mind, she trails down the basement steps ever-so-slowly, and waits at the bottom like a fall doorstep ready to be slammed into place. It’s the sound of whirring metal, the pleading words of a friend who’d backed out, and the vicious yell of a bitter worker missing a brother. It hits her body in less than a second, sputtering about on the floor like a dry fish as it splattered about pieces of hair, shards of bone, and chunk after chunk of meat.
For a beautiful second, the world is silent, and white.
Until Charlotte wakes up in the white chair, in the white room.

“Wilbur needs me—”
“Do you seriously think Wilbur gives a shit about you?” Schlatt asked, his voice wasn't harsh. No it was soft, gentle, seemingly filled with genuine sympathy. Or at least from what Tommy could tell.
“No, he doesn't,” Schlatt went on, “but I do, Tommy on Manburg you could be so much more. Do so much more. I'm even willing to make you my right hand man!”

When Wilbur made Tubbo his vice-president Tommy felt nothing but rage. He soon came to terms with the fact that his best friend was Wilbur's right hand man instead - but that was okay. He didn't mind that, not anymore. After being banished from L'Manberg when Schlatt wins the election Tommy has a hard time fitting in with his family. Because, what is he even there for? He's breaking and he can feel it. Schlatt notices this and decides to use Tommy's loyalty to his brothers against him, offering Tommy a place in his cabinet in Manberg.
But the past isn't what it seems, and long buried secrets are about to be revealed.

Techno snorted softly. He's read Sun Tzu's The Art of War front to back so many times he has the entire thing memorized

Techno's lips twitched into a small small at the voices happy cheer. His fingers were moments away from closing around the well loved book when he stilled, ears flicking to attention. His entire body tensed as he suddenly became hyper aware of every sound in his house.
