Carlos startled awake when he heard a heavy knock at the door, he looked around warily and realised he must have fallen asleep on the couch again as the TV rumbled quietly in the background. He had been waiting for her to come back from her mission; they were two days late and he was worried, refusing any jobs that cropped up until he was sure she safe.
He rubbed his tired eyes when the knocking sounded again; pushing himself to a stand, he could feel little more than dread pooling in his gut as he walked to the door nervously…There could only be one person on the other side of that door…Only one that would knock anyway.

They did the Ritual of Chud but it didn't work and suddenly that fucking clown was now chasing them all and taking different forms to fuck with them. At that moment, a tiny demon-Georgie was chasing Bill around and Richie had just managed to throw a rock at It which unfortunately had attracted Its attention…
"Richiiie!" The clown's voice deepened as Georgie shifted into an all too familiar form and suddenly the Henry Bowers he'd killed just hours before was facing him down, axe still sticking out of the back of his head and everything as he smirked sinisterly at him.
"Oh shit!" Richie exclaimed as Bowers-It laughed hysterically and started heading towards him.'

Marinette opened the trapdoor to her balcony and her eyes widened when they landed on him, his back was to her as he stared at the lights of the Eiffel Tower and she noticed his ears were flat on his head.
“Hey Kitty, is everything okay?” She asked worriedly as she made her way towards him and he turned with a grin on his face that didn’t quite meet his eyes.
After discovering what could potentially be the entrance Hawk Moth's layer, they were to meet up and confront him once and for all. That doesn't happen.

Set five years after they became Paris' greatest Superheroes and two weeks after Hawkmoth's defeat.
On the day that Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated Hawkmoth, Adrien Agreste disappeared and Marinette honestly couldn't blame him. It had been almost two weeks since Gabriel Agreste had been arrested, two weeks since Adrien's life had been flipped and she was almost at the end of her tether with worry...Marinette had considered asking her partner for help but there was something wrong with her cat as well, he had lost something in that battle but she didn't know what. Chat Noir had stopped joking, stopped laughing...stopped talking. He still showed up for patrol like clockwork, but he would do nothing more than greet her and do his share of his search.
Identities are revealed and this is nothing more than shameless hurt/comfort
