If Johnny Lawrence was home, he would be at the country club or with his friends at the beach or on a date with his girlfriend. But he wasn't home. Instead, he was in New Jersey trying to make a better life for himself and his mother after a rapid departure from his shitty step-dad. His mom insisted this was for the better and it probably would be if it wasn't for the overeager kid from the Y desperately trying to learn Karate.
Or really: what if Johnny had moved to Jersey instead of Daniel going to California.

Pankratz was the exact breed of professor that grated Geralt to the bone. All new-age learning styles that throw away any sort of examinations and insisting on his students calling him Jaskier. The bastard had a five-star rating on Rate My Professor, while Geralt was consistently stuck at 3 with students complaining his tests were difficult or lectures were boring. Lecture style teaching was all he knew; he wasn’t about to change that now based on the opinions of some eighteen-year-olds.
Geralt- a grumpy, workaholic, history professor- meets the flamboyant music professor Dr. Pankratz and immediately develops a rivalry. When they are recruited to work on a project together said rivalry and the stewing sexual tension between them make things... complicated.

“And I thought witchers were quiet.” The man interjected, lifting a brow as he looked over at Jaskier. The witcher blinked once or twice, before he registered the slight curl to the man’s lips - and that was a near smile.
Jaskier snorted, but tipped his head in acknowledgement.

A Reverse!Verse that came into being from an odd thought in my head and was fueled by several of my lovely mutuals on tumblr. I love y'all.
Also not ACTUALLY major character death. It's temporary and everyone survives, just wanted you all to be prepared for that scene when it came. Everyone is okay at the end, I promise!
