    Summary

Bucky Barnes is a poet, patriot, and veteran wandering in search of the source of the visions that have plagued him since before the war. Bucky’s dreams are consumed with visitations by a Great Dragon, haloed in sun and cloaked in stars. When he wakes he can only describe what he sees and feels in snippets of desperate poetry. As he journeys closer and closer to the Great Dragon, his fear of the Old God gives way to something else entirely.

    Summary

Steve rises before the sun, runs through various exercises until his muscles burn and sweat gathers on his brow. He showers and dresses and eats, and then heads out the door with dampness still clinging to his hair. His path doesn’t cross with anyone else’s until he reaches the local subway station. He jogs down the stairs to the platform and sees the man waiting there once again, the sergeant.

Or: Bucky joins Steve on his morning commute. Steve draws him and gets his number.

Bucky lowers himself against Steve's body, boneless and yet still agile as he speaks against Steve’s lips:

    “And how he kissed me.”

And Steve doesn’t need a damned engraved invitation. Steve doesn’t need to be told twice.

    “Excuse me, Captain Rogers?”

The Captain paused, let out the faintest of sighs, and said, “Yes, Sergeant Barnes?”

“Have you considered the fact that this plan is completely idiotic?”

The entire room went silent. George could hear the sweat rolling down the side of his neck. No one moved. He glanced at the front of the table and could have sworn he saw a small smirk at the edge of the Captain’s mouth.

“No I haven't, Sergeant. Care to enlighten us?”
