Touya knew Keigo was a boy before anyone else.
The first day of kindergarten, a boy with red and white hair had walked up to Keigo, who was trying to figure out how to best climb up a tree to get closer to a little bird nest he had spotted, and simply gone, “Aren’t girls supposed to be doing the glitter crafts?”
Keigo, in his muddied pink floral shirt, had simply huffed as his wings puffed up, scowling at Touya. “I’m not a girl!”
Touya had blinked and cocked his head. “Okay,” he shrugged. Apparently that simple three-line exchange was all that was needed when you were six. “Wanna play frisbee?”

Shigaraki was giving the journalists before him his best resting murder face. He might have willingly volunteered to cover Touya’s sorry ass because the man got a first place finish, but that didn’t mean he had to like it.
“Why did Todoroki leave so suddenly after the race?”
“Had to go visit his fiancé in hospital. Next.”
“Are you saying Todoroki continued to race despite Takami’s devastating crash and his fiancé being in the hospital?”
“Takami is his fiancé,” Shigaraki corrected absently, not really caring for the shocked outcry of the press at this new development. There was a split second moment of consideration before he added, “I might have to deck Takami in the face at the beginning of each race if this is how Todoroki drives when Takami’s injured.”
The fallout after Hawks' devastating crash, as dealt with by emotionally repressed idiots.

“Right!” Hawks said, perking up. “I gotta be a good brother-in-law, I need to become the favorite Todoroki.”
“Well, focus on the end of the season, then you can focus on overtaking my spot as the clear and unsurpassable favorite.”
Hawks clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes, slouching back in his chair. He opened his mouth to respond just as the waiter came over. “The season’s basically over anyway. ‘S like you said, it’s not as if there’s a big chance of some massive upheaval this late, y’know?”
Dabi and Hawks are Formula One drivers. Crashes aren't anything too out of the usual in their profession, nothing too life-threatening, except when they suddenly are.
- Part 1 of lights out, and away we go

The first time Hawks ever worked with Miruko, they were both covered in debris and dust, and Miruko had walked up to him and casually thrown an arm over his shoulder, asking him, “Where the fuck do you buy your eyeliner?”
He blinked in surprise. “Eyeliner?”
“Did I stutter?” she asked, raising a brow and jabbing a finger to point at his eyes. “Dude, everybody has been trying to figure out how the hell that shit never rubs off since you debuted.”
“It’s, uh, it’s natural,” he said hesitantly, a hand drifting up absently to trace over the markings. “It’s part of my quirk, I was born with it.”
“That’s so fucking unfair."

Midoriya’s quirk isn’t what anyone is expecting. That's not to say it’s bad, quite the opposite, it’s just that things are put in a different perspective when you regularly die. Midoriya still dreams of becoming a hero, and when he does- well no one was expecting this.
Aizawa needs a vacation. All Might doesn’t know how to handle his suicidal successor.
Bakugou is the only student that isn’t absolutely terrified of this cheerful yet surprisingly deadly hero in training.
And Midoriya? Well, he’s a little bitch with no regard for personal safety, and someone decided to give him an enhanced strength quirk on top of it.
AKA Midoriya has an immortality quirk and no one knows how to handle it, including Midoriya himself. Might as well fake it till he makes it. What’s the worst that can happen?
