Jack wants to fly, wants to get the magical burning under his skin to stop, wants to prove himself before he comes of age and the Janus Order decides he's not useful enough to keep alive.
Raf wants to be human, wants to stop hurting and itching in his own skin, wants to just explore science and technology in peace without wondering who may kill him today.
Miko wants to never be human again, wants to tear the beating human heart out of her chest, wants to be good enough that nobody will even think about challenging her right to live.
All three kids want a lot of things and as changelings, they're used to not getting them.
But none of them were quite expecting the Autobots.

Summary
Seventeen-year-old Rapunzel has been locked up in a tower ever since the Plague arose with her birth. When Gothel, the only mother she's ever known, takes her demand for freedom and usefulness much too far, Rapunzel sends a desperate plea to the one person who's kept hope ringing inside of her. Or, the spirit, more like.
After hearing a plea awfully hard to ignore, Jack Frost, one of the Guardians of Childhood, finds his way to an island he's never heard speak of before. He convinces an indecisive Rapunzel to follow him into the outside world in order to both see her mother's lies for herself, and find the freedom she's always craved to have.
But when things go awry, the two are forced to team up in order to take down a force that should never have returned. And Rapunzel might just be the key to stop it.
