Jiang Cheng misses his brother, Wei Wuxian picks up a new hobby, and Jin Ling connects the dots.
Ft. Yunmeng bros learning to talk about emotions, Wei Wuxian learning silk embroidery, and Lan Wangji's rabbits saving them both.
("I think it’s nice to stab something repeatedly. It’s cathartic,” Wei Wuxian quips, a familiar teasing glint back in his eyes, “I get stabbed so often, it’s nice to be the one doing the stabbing instead.”
"Wei Wuxian!" )

It's hard for Lan Xichen to trust his judgement after having so blatantly misjudged the character of Jin Guangyao, but watching Wei Wuxian interact with his brother reminds him that good can come from his judgement.
The 5+1 fic that was supposed to be lighthearted and funny. Instead, it turned into Lan Xichen being the best brother (in-law) ever as he helps Wei Wuxian work through his complicated emotions and they bond over younger brothers and rabbits.

Despite popular opinion, Lan Wangji is actually:
1. Terrible at diplomacy
2. Surprisingly vengeful
3. A master of holding grudges

Six months after the Guanyin temple, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji still aren’t together. Jingyi snaps because if his oblivious seniors can't talk about their feelings, then Jingyi is going to take matters into his own hands and make them talk.
Naturally, he enlists the help of Lan Xichen to matchmake a little.
Just a little.
(In which Sizhui is 100% of Jingyi's impulse control, Wangji is lonely, Jingyi may or may not break into the Hanshi via window, and Xichen is surprisingly permissive.)

Lan Wangji is accosted as he locks up the music academy by a man covered in paint, begging to enroll his son.
The enrollment period has passed. He can't possibly agree. But then the man shows him a video of the boy, the delight on his face as he plays, and Lan Wangji sees the potential there.
“Thank you! Thank you! This is the best day, I can’t wait to tell a-Yuan! He’s going to flip! We’ll be here tomorrow, 3pm, right? You won’t regret it! He’s gonna be your best student! I’ve gotta go pick him up from daycare, I’m already late, they’re probably gonna kick him out if I don’t get there, like, fifteen minutes ago. Thanks again!”
And then, the man is gone, without so much as a proper goodbye or, really, an introduction.
