Sam and Bucky’s mission was simple: stowaway on a ship suspected of weapons-smuggling in the Suez, gather enough intel to report back, and hop off again in Port Said. Something gets in the way, and a day-long recon session turns into a week of chess, bickering, semi-successful movie references, and trying not to go slowly insane.
Alternate title: I show up to every meme 15 minutes late with Starbucks.
The whistle screeched into the night,
Its steam a whispering veil.
And sparks lit up the tracks so bright,
Along the humming rails.
Now pistol crack and rifle din,
Send off their steel cry.
And fleeing hoofbeats all join in,
The Outlaw Lullaby.

Haunted by the war, Goodnight Robicheaux moves to a remote fishing village in the north of Scotland, right at the tail end of WWII. He takes a fishing cabin by the sea, his only neighbours the waves and a curious seal. Goodnight is simply after some peace and solitude, and isn’t expecting much in the way of human company. But even he doesn’t know just how right he’ll be about that.

"I seek righteousness...occasionally."
Angels and Demons and movie nights and organ smuggling and celestial conferences and seraphic barroom brawls and smiting and lukewarm coffee. And the internet.
/ɪn kəʊld taɪp/ a journalistic expression for a story arranged in print
Billy Rocks is a private detective who’s used to investigating the dark underbelly of his city. Goodnight Robicheaux is a journalist who’s used to exposing it. And when Goodnight walks into Billy’s office with a case, the pair become entangled in a world of fraud, deception, back-alley dealings, and good old-fashioned human greed…or for them, just another day at the office. The headstones are clean and well preserved and surrounded by fresh, colorful flowers when he reaches them. Not lilies, never lilies. But roses and sunflowers and violets. Someone has been taking care of them for years.
(Not him. He can't even take care of himself.)
There's names and dates and pictures. There's quotes. Beloved mother.
He has a split lip, his eye is a nasty shade of purple and he's still nursing three bruised ribs. Somehow this hurts more.
On the anniversary of their deaths, Tony visits his parents’ graves. He has an unexpected encounter. Things go downhill from there.

Jim has never once, in his life, believed in love. He wears his bare skin with only his own tattoo circling his ankle as a badge of honor.
He meets a man named Leonard McCoy on a shuttle in Riverside, Iowa who believes exactly the opposite.
(That AU in which everyone is born with a unique tattoo on their ankle that no one else has and every time you fall in love, their tattoo appears somewhere on your body.)
