“Long night, honey?” Catra called all her customers honey. It was diner thing more than a Catra thing. The drunk mumbled something incoherent and Catra rolled her eyes. Just because she was used to dealing with drunks on a nearly nightly basis didn’t mean they weren’t annoying as hell. She hardened her tone and raised her voice a little, “You’re going to have to speak up if you want to order anything.”
The drunk finally sat up, pushed their hood back, and looked at Catra, blue eyes bloodshot and tear stained. Catra recognized her instantly.
“Adora?”

Adora has been having a hard time adjusting since she's finished her enlistment. With fellow ex-marine Bow and his girlfriend Glimmer she's not doing too badly. Life isn't great but now she gets a chance to go to college and become a force of good in the world. The only thing that she's missing is someone who's she missed since the night of their graduation party. Catra, The woman she'd grown up with and wrote to through out her 3 years of service but with no where to send them, letters she still has. Catra hasn't spoken to her since the night she left in anger after hearing Adora was headed to boot camp. What are the odds Adora end up going to the same university as her? What are the odds that Adora can hide the worst of her changes from the woman she'd always loved? Catra would hate her... if she knew.
