Summary
When his uncle is overthrown as the pack leader, Lan Yibo is sold to an auction house. He expects to be held captive until he presents, and then to be killed for being an alpha. The Yiling Patriarch offers him a choice between death or submission, and Yibo's traitorous wolf takes the easy way out. But when the vampire starts conditioning him to turn him into an omega, Yibo wonders if submission was the easy way after all.

Summary

“If you give him some relationship advice and I help him with flirting, we’ll get Lan Zhan his heart’s desire in no time!” Wei Wuxian says boldly, and Lan Xichen rubs his temples as if he’s having a headache. “What?”
“… I have offered him relationship advice,” Lan Xichen says finally, slowly, giving Wei Wuxian a look. “I believe the object of his affections is oblivious to his feelings despite numerous gestures.”
“What an idiot,” Wei Wuxian declares, and Lan Xichen looks downright pained. “Don’t worry, Lan Xichen, between your good advice and my excellent tutoring, we’ll make certain Lan Zhan’s affections will be clear to even the most oblivious.”
“… I certainly hope so,” Lan Xichen says after a moment, looking down at the counter and sighing.

The picture of himself and Lan Zhan that the gossip and rumors are painting is alluring, tempting, captivating – in love, together, kissing, sleeping together every night - oh, how captivating. A far better picture than Wei Wuxian sitting in a inn missing Lan Zhan with every breath after three weeks at Nie Huaisang’s whining about how much he missed Lan Zhan and yet not quite daring to do something about it; meanwhile Lan Zhan is being His Excellency and making the cultivation world hopefully better, but on his own, possibly missing Wei Wuxian as well. (Hopefully missing him, Wei Wuxian is selfish enough to think.)
Maybe it’s time to be a little daring – and make the rumors come true, one at a time.
