Hitoshi shakes his head, “No! We’re brothers now, Izuku. Now and forever.”
Izuku holds up a pinky finger, “Promise?”
Hitoshi wraps his finger around Izuku’s. “Promise Ku-kun.” Izuku turns bright red, and Hitoshi’s smile widens. “Brothers. Always.”
(Or, Izuku loses his family just to gain another. This cycle continues more than it should.)

Summary
Peter Parker was never raised with his Aunt May or Uncle Ben. He was raised by HYDRA to be a weapon just like, or even better then, the Winter Soldier. After ten years, Peter has lost all hope that he will ever make it out of HYDRA's clutches. Until the Avengers are unknowingly sent to retrieve Peter. Maybe they can help Peter understand that he can be more then some weapon.
AU where the team actually talked out their problems, like an actual team would.

Latest Chapter? Day Nine: Coma
All Tony knows in those first few moments is panic. Pure, raw panic that he feels through his very core. Winding throughout his body, and making him vibrate as Happy rushed him back to the compound. This couldn’t have happened. It was some sick joke that the universe was playing on him.
Because Rhodey could not have picked Peter up from a patrol gone horribly wrong. Peter could not have gotten shot three times. Tony could not have not gotten the call because the meeting he had been in didn’t allow phones. Because Peter was not in a fucking coma.
And because the last conversation Tony had had with the kid had most definitely not been a stupid argument.

Summary
Of course it was Midoriya Izuku. If there had to be at least one sleepwalker in class 1-A, it just had to be Aizawa Shota’s honorary Problem Child. With a heavy sigh that turned into a tear inducing and jaw cracking yawn, Shota moved to his back and held the tablet over his face. Curiously, he watched Midoriya lazily rifling through the drawers, leaving them open as he went, until he stopped at the fifth one and stared inside. Shota wonders for a moment if the boy had woken himself up - suddenly stiff and doe eyed - until he watches him very slowly, with a shaky hand pick up a long knife glinting in the fluorescent light.

Viktor accidentally misses the first minute or so of the number, quickly flipping through his program and scanning down the list of names and pictures of the principal dancers & soloists.
There: he’s able to make out a slightly grainy picture of the dancer in the darkness of the theatre, dressed in a cozy looking turtleneck, leggings, and glasses, looking warm and serene as he smiles at the camera.
