Wei Wuxian finds Lan Wangji on the field. The ball is nowhere near him but he seems to have fallen inexplicably backwards, sitting on the grass as he looks up at the giant screen.

Summary
Most people, without hesitation, would say that Lan Xichen was a selfless, kind man with a steady and wise heart. Above reproach. Always acting with the rules of his sect in mind, and behaving as was becoming of a sect leader.
Lan Xichen knew that these things were not true.
Unmated Omegas must present and submit themselves before a sect’s Alpha when visiting their territory. It’s left to the Alpha’s discretion to decide what their submission will involve.
