Summary
It was never supposed to be like this. Callum would have never guessed that within one night his entire world would be changed for the worst. With his father and brother dead, he must struggle to find his place as the new king of Katolis. How could anyone possibly think him fit after what happened?
Callum struggles in the aftermath of the successful assassination attempt on his family. He struggles to deal with not only the fate of his kingdom but his own crippling self doubt. He can't shake that he could have done more to help his father and brother, and eventually turns to the only thing he seems to be good at: Dark Magic.
