He knew back then that this girl was special. Though he couldn’t stand or comprehend why he instantly melted at the sight of her, his heart fluttering in ways he didn’t even know it could. He would curse himself for being drawn so closely to her in that way; he refused to understand why his thoughts slowly but surely became more about her, and only her.
And here he was, two years later, free from a centuries-old curse, completely certain that he was madly, utterly, irrevocably in love with Tohru; the girl he ran home to on their first New Years together; the girl he was currently running at the speed of light for.

Summary
Kyo becomes comfortable being with Tohru while he's in his cat form, so they stay together and nap on rainy days, which leads to them sharing a bed, which leads to them dating, which leads to other things ;)
Ultimately it starts out really fluffy and then it gets dirty and then it's funny because Shigure is also there and he's an ass and I love him.
*There's not really any spoilers even though the tags say this fanfiction takes place before and after the curse breaks because the anime hasn't finished and I haven't read the manga so I don't actually know how or when it happens.*

Eerily, the house looks almost exactly the same. Frozen in the forest as though suspended in amber, a perfect rendition of so many of Tohru’s fondest memories. The little pond out front has dried up and there’s no laundry swinging from the lines, but everything else is just as she recalled - except, maybe smaller. A little more unkempt.
Her calves burn from walking up the stairs - were there always so many stairs?
